Joan Leong Photography is one of Singapore’s leading lifestyle photography companies. We specialise in capturing special and intimate moments in family and wedding photography, finessing it with our signature ‘clean and fresh’ style.

Our photography services also include event coverage, editorial, corporate and product photoshoots and any other fun projects.

Joan stumbled into photography when she became the on-set photographer for Singapore’s first reality television programme, 'Eye For A Guy', a dating show. While the contestants fell in love, she fell in love with the art of capturing the moment.

Since then, she has photographed other shows such as 'Eye For A Guy Season 2', 'A Light Affair', 'A Flair To Remember', 'Girls Out Loud', and 'Carlsberg Man of the Match Challenge'.

She was also a photojournalist with the newspaper, 'The New Paper' and currently strings for the American news agency, ‘The Associated Press’.

Areas of photography that Joan works in are: events, corporate, products, editorial and any other fun projects. Some of her clients include MediaCorp, Procter & Gamble, Prime Minister’s Office, British High Commission, Singapore Press Holdings and many happy families!

Joan also was a producer for 5 years in the television industry and worked mainly in the genres of reality television programmes and corporate videos. She conceptualised, executed and coordinated productions from start to finish, such as 'S Factor'. She has also been involved in exciting projects such as 'The Amazing Race' and 'The Amazing Race Asia'.

Before becoming a shutterbug, Joan was working in the education industry as a speech and drama teacher. Her 12-year experience in the speech and drama field both on the ground and at the management levels makes her uniquely capable to develop and execute effective training programmes.

Her main muse for her daily photography projects is her daughter, Clare. She also blogs here, where she also posts her other non-work related photos.
